Brand new training centre unveiled to authorised dealers

A group of STAMFORD | AvK authorised parts and service dealers were welcomed to our brand new training centre within the Alternator Technology Centre (Stamford, UK).

The invited party, made up of longstanding authorised dealers from across Europe, included representatives from Generator Solutions, Baumuller, Mid Kent Electrical, SIRMA, ATME and Johec (now Facta Spijkenisse BV).

They were given an overview of the service training packages on offer at the Service Training Centre by Kevin Collins before embarking on a few training activities which were built to test their knowledge in an entertaining fashion.

The event was completed with a tour around the entire Alternator Technology Centre in Stamford, led by site leaders Robert Laing and Gary Berridge.

Launch of the Service Training Centre

This signals the launch of operations at the Service Training Centre in Stamford following a year-long transition from the previous venue in Daventry where courses had been delivered for five years.

With all of the equipment, classrooms and workshops now moved and installed the training centre is fully operational with a programme of courses booked in for the remainder of 2019 – find more information below about how to book a spot on one of these courses.

Practical and theoretical alternator service courses

The new training centre has a versatile classroom arrangement which allows us to be flexible with classroom sizes, layouts and numbers of attendees.

We also have a large workshop with a range of machines enabling students to gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.

The Service Training Centre can provide a range of standard courses (listed below) but is also able to offer tailored solutions to meet customer needs. This can be delivered both in Stamford or at external venues.
