On Monday 15th June 2015, Granly Diesel, Cummins' distributor for Denmark, held its annual Customer Open Day with up to 300 attendees braving cold and windy conditions.
On display at their Esberg site were Granly Diesel's product line up focusing on marine and industrial applications. Granly were supported by Cummins and the Cummins 'Power Tour' trailer, showcasing the C220 D5E low kVA standby generator set as well as a C40 D5R rental generator set.
But one of the main attractions was the STAMFORD PM7 alternator which drew a lot of attention from some of the bigger fleet companies such as Maersk, Esvagt and Uni-tankers, as well as some of the key system integrators. Other companies that attended included the likes of A2Sea and DONG Energy and Maersk Oil & Gas sent up to ten staff from their maintenance and operation departments to capture key information and insights.
Overall this event proved to be a great success for providing a mutual ground for doing business under casual surroundings and there was a lot of good feedback from the attendees.
Granly Diesel were extremely grateful for the support they received from Cummins Generator Technologies as they continue to make waves in promoting the STAMFORD AvK marine alternator range.
