Cummins supports its Benelux distributor, Caldic Techniek, at Maritime Industry exhibition

Cummins Generator Technologies and Caldic Techniek B.V. have been long-term business partners and so when Akash Raktoe, Account Manager from Caldic, requested support for their exhibition stand, they were offered the desired support to help promote the STAMFORDand AvK marine alternators.

On the 2nd to the 4th June 2015, Caldic exhibited at the Maritime Industry exhibition for the fifth year running, an event that attracts over 14,000 visitors over the course of the three days. The exhibition, predominantly for the Dutch marine industry, is a specialised exhibition held at Evenementenhal Gorinchem that is entirely dedicated to the subjects of shipbuilding and shipping. Companies from the fields of ship equipment, ship repair, ship engines and many more get to show themselves as potential suppliers and service providers and visitors are able to see the latest products and obtain and compare offers whilst enjoying good networking opportunities.

Caldic's exhibition stand received lots of attention with their customers and end-users taking the time to meet on their stand. On display was a STAMFORD HCM5 alternator which intrigued many visitors and it proved to be very useful in explaining the workings of an alternator. The HCM5 is just one of the STAMFORD product ranges that is well designed and suited to support marine auxiliary applications.

Akash Raktoe commented, 'The exhibition was very successful. Many of our customers and end-users visited our stand and took the time to be informed about our products and new developments. Caldic Techniek ensures that it provides the right support and solutions to the market which was repeatedly confirmed by the visitors on our stand.'

Due to the success of this year's exhibition, Caldic will be planning and looking ahead to attending once again in 2016 and will undoubtedly receive the level of support that have come to expect from Cummins.
