STAMFORD | AvK China marked an important milestone on 28 April 2026, celebrating 30 years of operations in China alongside the launch of a new product platform designed to strengthen performance in critical power applications.

Held at the Xiangjiang plant in Wuxi, the event brought together leaders from STAMFORD | AvK, Cummins Inc., customers, partners and employees to recognise three decades of growth, local development and long-term collaboration in one of STAMFORD | AvK’s most strategically important markets.

Three decades of growth in China

Since operations began in Wuxi in 1996, STAMFORD | AvK China has built a strong presence in generator technologies through a focus on reliable quality, continuous innovation and local capability.

Over the past 30 years, the business has developed from a manufacturing operation into a strategic hub supporting research and development, production, supply chain management and customer support. Today, products manufactured in China support customers across a wide range of sectors including data centres, industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, infrastructure, commercial buildings and marine.

This growth reflects long-term investment in local capability, strong customer relationships and the ability to combine global engineering expertise with regional market understanding.
