In a highly anticipated event, STAMFORD | AvK recently conducted a series of seminars in partnership with Hong Seng Power (HSP), providing valuable insights to data centre consultants.
Dating back 12 years, STAMFORD | AvK’s partnership with HSP – under the PT Power brand, HSP supplies end product of marine engines and power generator sets after the process of importing various components, reassembling and reengineering. We supply the STAMFORD® alternators between 15kVA to 3000kVA and are proud to partner with HSP across multiple projects over the past decade.
The seminars centered around data centre expertise and technical aspects. Wayne Chen, Marketing Manager for Asia, delivered an engaging presentation, highlighting the STAMFORD | AvK experience and their global partnerships. Participants were also introduced to the company's power generation presence and the basics of alternators.
This was followed by an in-depth exploration of technical capabilities by David Lim, the Sales Director for Asia Pacific, captivating the audience with information on brand and product insights. Brian Soo, Regional Sales Manager, provided an overview of the STAMFORD | AvK product range.
Jinlong Qi, Customer Engineering & Service Manager, engaged with participants throughout the event, delivering technical expertise and answering queries related to data centre applications and alternator basics.
The seminars were held in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru, marking a significant milestone for HSP, the event organiser, as their first gathering after the pandemic. This event also marked the first time the seminars were held in Penang and Johor Bahru. Furthermore, attendees had the opportunity to accumulate official engineering hours recognized by the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
