For this project, Khonaysser supplied and integrated a standby power system for a government hospital in Dubai, where uninterrupted power is essential for patient safety.

Project Scope

The hospital required stable, uninterrupted power to support life-critical systems, medical equipment, and essential services. The project called for a total standby capacity of 3,000 kVA for emergency backup power. The system was also required to operate reliably in ambient temperatures of up to 50°C, with installation completed with minimal disruption to hospital operations. Given the critical nature of healthcare facilities, system reliability, load-handling capability, and long-term service support were essential.

Power Specifications

Khonaysser Group delivered a standby power solution comprising three 1,000 kVA generator sets, each equipped with a STAMFORD S6L1D-E41 alternator, selected for reliable performance in high ambient temperatures and coupled to a Perkins 4008TAG2A diesel engine.

Each generator was fitted with Powerlock connections to support testing and operational flexibility, while a temporary rental unit ensured uninterrupted power during installation. The solution provides stable electrical output for sensitive medical equipment, supported by STAMFORD | AvK’s technical expertise to ensure correct specification and smooth commissioning from start to finish.
